If the seat belt is the only reason that the airbag light is on, then yes! No further programming or reset services are need to reset the light. This usually inlcudes any codes related to pretensioners’ “resistance too high” or “resistance too low.” Do keep in mind that your airbag light may be on for other codes.

Seat belts are designed to operate in the installed position. So if you received your repaired seat belt back and it is still locked, hold it at a 90 degree angle and it should release. If not, install it and it will work!
